On February 24, a fire destroyed an automobile spare parts shop in Thane district, Maharashtra. The incident occurred at Vanzarpatti Naka in Bhiwandi town at around 9.30 pm on Sunday. Five fire engines were deployed by the BNMC to control the blaze, which was finally brought under control by 2 am on Monday. Cooling operations are currently underway.
