💨 Abstract
A fire broke out in the basement of the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) metro underground station in Mumbai on Friday afternoon, causing heavy smoke and suspending train services. The blaze was confined to construction materials and caused no injuries. Eight fire engines are at the scene controlling the fire. The BKC station is part of the recently inaugurated 12.69 km long Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation's Aqua Line corridor.
