💨 Abstract
AIIMS Raipur, a government hospital in Chhattisgarh, successfully performed its first swap kidney transplant, making it the first among newer AIIMS institutions to do so. This complex procedure, also known as Kidney Paired Transplant (KPT), allows incompatible blood group patients to receive kidneys through donor exchange, potentially increasing the number of transplants by 15%.
