A head-on collision between a double-decker bus and a tempo on the Bahraich-Gonda highway in Uttar Pradesh killed five family members and injured 11 others, who were en route to a family function. The accident occurred when the tempo driver attempted to overtake a tractor. The deceased and injured were all relatives and women/children. The injured are currently in stable condition at Maharishi Balark District Hospital.
