💨 Abstract

Neerja Bhatla, a former head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at AIIMS Delhi, has been awarded the Padma Shri for her significant contributions to the detection, prevention, and management of cervical cancer. She has played a key role in creating resource-based guidelines for cervical cancer screening, management, and HPV vaccination.
