The free high-speed WiFi facility for Kedarnath pilgrims has become operational, providing 30 minutes of access after registration. The system, called District Disaster Resource Network, also serves as a communication tool during emergencies, helping pilgrims and rescue teams in the 2024 Kedarnath disaster. Efforts are ongoing to further improve facilities for Char Dham pilgrims.
