A 17-year-old girl from Bihar died due to suspected Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) at a private hospital in Guwahati, Assam. This is the first reported case of GBS in Assam this season. The girl was admitted to the hospital 10 days ago and her condition worsened, leading to her death on ventilator support. The symptoms were similar to those reported in other parts of India.
