Goa Congress's Women's Wing President Beena Shantaram Naik has resigned, citing the need for younger leaders to take over. She will continue to work for the Congress as a member. Naik assumed the role in November 2021, following the resignation of Pratima Coutinho, who joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
