The Goa government launched a 20-year longitudinal cohort study aimed at diagnosing chronic and non-communicable diseases in advance. The study, a collaboration between the Goa Directorate of Health Services, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, and the University of Oxford, will collect blood samples from over 1 lakh people and provide insights into the risk factors and disease patterns in Goa.
