💨 Abstract
The Indian government has banned Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT), a global Islamic group founded in 1953, for aiming to establish an Islamic state and caliphate globally, including in India, through jihad and terrorist activities. The group is accused of radicalizing youth, motivating them to join terrorist organizations, and raising funds for terror activities. The ban is effective on HuT and all its manifestations and front organizations.
