šØ Abstract
The Punjab Civil Medical Services Association (PCMSA) has withdrawn its agitation call after the health department reinstated the assured career progression scheme, a key demand of the association. The government also agreed to recruit 304 medical officers and rationalise the postgraduate policy to attract young doctors. However, the PCMSA has emphasized the need for a draft security framework to address safety concerns in public healthcare facilities.
