💨 Abstract
The Indian government has mandated that all government and semi-government bodies, including local self-government and public transport bodies, must scrap vehicles older than 15 years by the end of January 2023. These vehicles must be scrapped only through registered facilities by January 31, 2025. The move aims to reduce the number of outdated vehicles in the state. Currently, there are six such facilities in Maharashtra.
