💨 Abstract

The Indian government has clarified the roles of its various departments in matters related to telecom network security, cyber security, and cyber crime. The Department of Telecommunication under the Ministry of Communication will handle telecom network security, while the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology will support on cyber security. The Department of Internal Security under the Ministry of Home Affairs will manage cyber crime issues. The National Security Council Secretariat will provide overall coordination and strategic direction for cyber security.
