The Geological Survey of India (GSI) is conducting 14 mineral exploration projects in West Bengal, focusing on finding deposits of graphite, gold, and titanium in four southern districts. The GSI is also exploring natural hydrogen projects in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The agency is working on around 500 mineral exploration projects across India with a budget of Rs 4,000 crore.
