Congress leader Pawan Khera criticized the BJP-led government for the implementation of GST, claiming it has not benefited the masses despite a 170% increase in collection over five years. He argued that the middle class, poor, and traders have been negatively impacted by the tax. Khera also accused the government of having three tax slabs on popcorn, and said the tax has become complex rather than simplifying things.
