💨 Abstract
Gujarat residents in Dhanera, Kankrej, and Deodar protested against the state government's decision to remove their talukas from Banaskantha and include them in the new Vav-Tharad district. The residents argue that they are historically and geographically closer to Palanpur in Banaskantha and do not wish to travel to Tharad for official work once the new district is created.
