💨 Abstract

Haryana authorities suspended the licenses of two medics and arrested three alleged fake doctors for illegal abortions and dispensing Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) kits. Over 50 inspections were conducted, leading to the closure of 25 MTP centers and the seizure of 921 MTP kits. The actions were part of efforts to curb illegal abortions and improve the state's sex ratio under the 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' campaign.
