The BJP will swear in its new government in Haryana on October 17 in Panchkula, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders attending. The BJP won 48 seats in the assembly election, making Nayab Singh Saini their choice for the chief minister position. The JJP, AAP, and INLD performed poorly in the election, winning only a few seats each.
