Congress' Aftab Ahmed, contesting from the Muslim-dominated Nuh constituency in Haryana, is promising a law against lynching in the name of cow protection and a judicial inquiry into communal violence that erupted last year. He accuses the BJP of supporting anti-social elements disguised as cow protectors, causing communal violence and demolishing homes of innocent people.
