💨 Abstract

Heavy rain caused a flash flood in Ramban district, Jammu and Kashmir, damaging around 40 houses and affecting traffic on the strategic Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Over 100 villagers were rescued, and the authorities advised against traveling due to continuing rain and landslides. Several vehicles were swept away in the flood caused by a stream overflowing.
