💨 Abstract
Thirteen years after the abduction of Sukma District Collector Alex Paul Menon by Maoist cadres, key figure Barsa Deva surrendered to Telangana police. Deva, a close associate of slain Maoist commander Madvi Hidma, was instrumental in several high-profile attacks. His surrender, along with 18 others, is seen as a significant blow to the Maoist movement, pushing it to the brink of collapse.
