The Himachal Pradesh cabinet has approved expanding the Below Poverty Line (BPL) list to include certain vulnerable groups, such as women-headed households and families with disabled heads. The cabinet also established a special task force to combat drug abuse and approved renaming the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration. Additionally, the cabinet paid tributes to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, acknowledging his significant contributions to national and state development.
