Himachal Pradesh's Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, visited Pong Dam in Kangra district to ensure the safety of migratory birds from Siberia and Mongolia. He highlighted the area's tourism potential and directed the forest department to protect these birds. Two boats have been deployed, and two more speedboats are to be added for tourist convenience.
