On May 14, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP state president Dilip Saikia led a 'Tiranga Yatra' in Guwahati to celebrate 'Operation Sindoor,' the Indian armed forces' retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack. Hundreds of supporters joined the march from Adabari to Jalukbari, waving Indian flags and chanting patriotic slogans.
