In Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, Holi was celebrated peacefully and with traditional fervor despite the simultaneous Friday prayers of Muslims. Tight security arrangements were in place due to the overlap of the two events, with more than 60 processions completed under tight security. The RAF conducted a flag march and the district was divided into 29 sectors and put under drone surveillance. The events passed off peacefully following a three-tier security arrangement.
