Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has accused a scam in the housing for the poor scheme, alleging that DDA housing units meant for slum dwellers in Delhi were sold to ineligible individuals. He claimed that the scam could not have happened without the consent of the Lieutenant Governor.
