Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, the father-in-law of Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, passed away in Srinagar on Wednesday after a prolonged illness. He was 80. Masoodi, a doctor by profession, left Kashmir in 1974 for studies in the US and returned 28 years later.
