The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has transferred an indigenously developed diagnostic technology for rapid TB detection to Meril Diagnostics for commercial production. The technology, developed by ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, North East (ICMR-RMRC NE), is a CRISPR-Cas-based diagnostic system that provides ultra-sensitive and rapid detection of TB.
