💨 Abstract

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is acquiring two more mobile BSL-3 labs, called RAMBAAN, to enhance outbreak response capabilities and health services in remote areas. Developed indigenously, RAMBAAN is field-deployable and designed to handle cases of high-risk pathogens. It has been successfully used in Nipah virus outbreaks in Kerala.
