💨 Abstract

IIT Indore has developed a technology to produce bioplastic using indigenous microorganisms. The technology, developed by researchers from the Algal EcoTechnology and Sustainability Group, combines photosynthetic microalgae and bacteria to synthesize biopolymers, particularly PHA, a biodegradable bioplastic similar to polypropylene.
