In Kaushambi, a large cache of illegal firecrackers and explosives was seized from a warehouse ahead of Diwali, and the owner, Naushad Ali, was arrested without a license. The UP Police have been cracking down on illegal firecracker-making units following several fatal explosions in Gonda and Bareilly.
