💨 Abstract
The Indian Cabinet has approved deals for building two indigenous nuclear submarines and purchasing 31 Predator drones from the US. The submarines, valued at approximately Rs 45,000 crore, will be constructed at Vishakhapatnam with significant private sector involvement. The drones will be acquired under a Foreign Military Sales contract and will be used by the Indian Navy, Army, and Air Force for surveillance in peacetime.
