💨 Abstract
The NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), India's overseas payment system arm, plans to build a digital payments system for Trinidad and Tobago, similar to India's United Payments Interface (UPI). The system will facilitate both person-to-person and person-to-merchant transactions. NIPL has previously agreed to develop digital payment systems for Peru and Namibia using UPI as a blueprint.
