India's Godrej Consumer Products reported a 14.2% increase in Q3 profit, but lower than expected due to urban demand slowdown. The company, which makes soaps, reported a net profit of 4.98 billion rupees, with revenue up 3% and raw material costs rising 2.3%. The slowdown was attributed to delayed winter, inflation, slow wage growth, and job scarcity.
