💨 Abstract
Mizoram Transport Minister Vanlalhlana stated that inland water transport could improve connectivity and alleviate transportation issues in the hilly northeastern state. He made this comment at an Inland Waterway Development Council meeting in Assam's Kaziranga. The minister highlighted that while Mizoram lacks large navigable rivers, effective use of existing rivers can significantly improve connectivity and reduce the burden of transporting people and goods.
