💨 Abstract
Iran is seeking advice from India to manage its critically endangered cheetah population. At a meeting, Rajesh Gopal, Chairman of the Cheetah Project in India, mentioned Iran's interest. India has successfully reintroduced African cheetahs and is willing to assist globally, including Iran. The Asiatic cheetah, once widespread, now numbers fewer than 30 in Iran, facing threats from prey decline, habitat loss, and illegal hunting.
