💨 Abstract
The National Conference and Congress have formed a pre-poll alliance for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections to prevent a hung assembly. National Conference will contest 51 seats, Congress 32, and the CPI(M) one. The remaining six seats will see a friendly contest between the two parties. Omar Abdullah, National Conference vice-president, stated that the alliance aims to provide people an election option to avoid a hung assembly and ensure government formation.
