Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah claimed that people in the region have regained their voice after the passage of a resolution on restoring the state's special status, which was revoked in August 2019. He stated that the first session of the newly elected assembly was historic and expressed his optimism about serving the people. Abdullah also acknowledged the significant changes and losses that have occurred since March 2014.
