Politicial parties in Jammu and Kashmir welcomed a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, announced by the directors general of military operations (DGMOs) of both countries. The ceasefire took effect at 5 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, following a statement by U.S. President Donald Trump.
