đź’¨ Abstract
The Jammu-Srinagar national highway, the only all-weather road connecting Kashmir to the rest of the country, has been reopened for light motor vehicles after restoration work on Saturday. The highway was closed due to heavy snowfall, landslides, and shooting stones in Ramban district. A major landslide has blocked one tube of the Kunfer-Peerah tunnel, and a side of the road near Mehar has caved in.
