💨 Abstract

The Jharkhand High Court has upheld the death sentence of Deepak Kumar, a Jamshedpur resident, for murdering his wife and two daughters, inspired by crime thrillers he watched on OTT platforms. On April 12, 2021, Kumar killed his wife with a hammer and then smothered his daughters.
