Health Minister Sakina Itoo has extended the services of the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL) to the Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) to overcome fund lapses in procurement. The minister confirmed that SKIMS remains an autonomous institution, but internal procurement mechanisms were found insufficient.
