The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) accused the Election Commission of India of favoring the Bharatiya Janata Party, comparing their relationship to the characters in the 2005 Bollywood movie 'Bunty Aur Babli'. The JMM also alleged that the central government is misusing central agencies like ED, CBI, and the Income Tax Department.
