In Kerala, young employees working in IT and media sectors are experiencing high levels of work stress (84.3% and 83.5% respectively), according to a survey by the state Youth Commission. The survey also found that about 80.6% employees from banking and insurance sector and 75.5% from the gig economy have reported work stress. Employees working in retail and industrial sectors reported comparatively lower levels of work stress.
