Justice Harish Tandon, currently a judge at the Calcutta High Court, has been appointed as the next Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court. The appointment comes after the Supreme Court Collegium's recommendation and following the retirement of Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh in January. Tandon was first appointed as a judge of the Calcutta High Court in April 2010.
