Katra ropeway protest: Detained protesters to be released, panel to hold talks with Sangharsh Samiti

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has formed a four-member committee to address protests against the Katra ropeway project, and has announced the release of detained protesters. The committee, including the Divisional Commissioner and the CEO of the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, will discuss all issues related to the project. The work on the ropeway will be suspended until the committee completes its discussions.
