💨 Abstract

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan supports the extension of the Build-Operate-Transfer contract for the Maniyar Small Hydro Electric Project with a private company, Carborundum Universal Limited. He believes it is necessary to continue such contracts as Kerala ranks first in "ease of doing business". The government's policy is to continue captive generation units, and there are no contentious issues, as the company produces power according to its requirement.
