💨 Abstract

The Bahraich police in Uttar Pradesh arrested Khurshid Ahmad, the main suspect behind the communal violence that occurred during a Durga idol immersion procession in Maharajganj town on October 13. Ahmad had fled to Nepal following the incident but was apprehended upon his return to India.
