đź’¨ Abstract
The Chief Election Commissioner of India, Rajiv Kumar, has announced that two electoral reforms to boost voter participation and conceal voting patterns are ready but need political consensus for implementation. These reforms include the 'totalizer' technology, linking multiple EVMs to hide booth-wise voting patterns, and measures to enable remote voting for migrant workers. However, the use of these reforms relies on political consensus.
