The East-West corridor of Kolkata Metro will be suspended for four days starting February 16 and then for another four days from February 20 for communication trial, as tunneling work between Esplanade and Sealdah stations has been completed. The trial is to test the state-of-the-art Communication-based Train Control (CBTC) system along the entire Green Line from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V.
